Kristin was gone. Steve was solo. Here's how the week went.
JUST WHEN I THOUGHT HE WAS OUT … Matt Smith, Political Director at Channel 12 in Milwaukee, joined Steve for a full hour with Kristin off on a much-needed vacation all week. The Wisconsin governor’s race consumed most of the hour, with a healthy dose of Lt. Governor Sara Rodriguez and County Executive David Crowley breaking news. One out, one in, and a big old endorsement from Governor Tony Evers. Whatever does it all mean?
WHO’S THIS GUY? - Todd Allbaugh jumped into the Point Taken fray on Tuesday and Steve and Todd explored all of the campaign drama of the democrats race to take back the governor’s residence in Wisconsin. Steve asked the question, was it really a good idea to have so many candidates? And is our state really going to elect a Democratic Socialist?
STEVE’S ONE MAN SHOW! You know the Wednesday show will be different when Steve shucks the normal show intro and goes with his own brand of informed, reasonable, rational and fun talk radio. Wouldn’t it be great if the rest of the radio universe got on that wagon?
HE’S NOT JUST A SPORTS GUY ANYMORE! ESPN94.5’s Alex Strouf sat down with Steve for the 1st hour of the Thursday show, and they dove into sports culture, and travel? IS ANYBODY WORKING ON FRIDAY? Steve and Kristin were both off on Friday. Joe Zepecki and Bill McCoshen did their best impressions of radio hosts and filled in admirably. TGIF!
