About last week…
On Monday’s show, Matt Smith, Political Director at Channel 12 in Milwaukee, joined Steve & Kristin and spotlighted the Wisconsin Supreme Court race. “Wisconsin Voters aren’t Dumb” was the quote of the day! Several Taco Tuesday references on a Monday made Annex Wealth Management CEO Dave Spano’s weekly appearance a bit more memorable.
Tuesday was Election Day! We also broke down our feelings about President Trump’s threat to wipe out a civilization and welcomed Tory Lowe on the show to talk about his annual Community Clean Up - join us next Saturday!
A Hump Day of special significance as Steve & Kristin reacted to Tuesday’s Spring elections across the state. Trade expert Leo Krenz on tariffs and political strategist Joe Zepecki on the idea of an A.I. moratorium added to a busy Wednesday on Point Taken.
A new day, a new mayor for Waukesha! Newly-elected Mayor Alicia Halvensleben (say that name three times fast) joined Point Taken to talk about her big win on Tuesday. UrbanMilwaukee.com’s Jeramey Jannene gave Steve & Kristin the rundown on all things Milwaukee politics and more in his regular weekly appearance.
Full house on a Friday edition of Point Taken as Steve & Kristin, Bill McCoshen, and Joe Zepecki take on the fallout from Tuesday’s election, and where in the world are we going with the war in Iran? And Joe had strong feelings about his first experience of Buc-ee’s.

As someone who didn’t go to college right away, then started at a 2-year school, and then graduated from one of the world's best public universities, I am a big fan of non-traditional paths and schools. What I didn’t know is that Wisconsin was home to Thoreau College, a "microcollege" that offers an experimental alternative for students disillusioned by their mainstream postsecondary options.

Today, April 12th, is Hungary’s election. Ahead of those results, I recommend watching the latest episode of Last Week Tonight, where John Oliver looked into the reign of Viktor Orbán in Hungary. A staunch religious conservative, he is also beloved by some Republicans in the US, and has been officially endorsed in the upcoming election by Donald Trump
